Ayon kay Games and Amusement Board (GAB) Chairman Ramon Guanzon, gaganapin ang naturang laban sa Oktubre 8, 2011, sa La Salle Coliseum sa Bacolod City. Ang 29-anyos na si Nietes ng ALA boxing promotion na nakabase sa Cebu City ang may hawak sa WBO minimumweight crown. Una nang naidepensa nito ang korona ng apat na beses. Last year or so the interest that has surrounded this possible Pacquiao vs Mosley bout has been unseen in the boxing world for a long time we all want to know how lost will end, but absolutely everyone wants to know who will come out on top in this Mosley vs Pacquiao fight of intensity. I've spent the last few days watching videos of both fighters, from Pacquiao's fights to Mosley fights. I’ve picked apart their styles and finally managed to conclude my thoughts on this fight with enough confidence. Not everyone will agree with my thoughts, but that is boxing and that is what makes this Pacquiao vs Mosley fight so interesting. As we all know, the contrast in style between the two fighters is huge, with Manny with his speed, his ability, and his power and Mosley being big, strong, power and intelligent fighter. This clash of styles is what's making this Pacquiao vs Mosley bout so interesting. Both fighters have their flaws and both fighters have had trouble against each other. So how I think this Mosley vs Pacquiao fight is going to pan out, some of you may already know who I'm backing for this Pacquiao vs Mosley fight but I think it's important that everyone backs up their predictions with thoughts and reasoning. I'm predicting a knockout in favor of Manny Pacquiao. I think his foot work, speed and longer stamina will allow him to hit Mosley with the left hand at will, discouraging Mosley offense. The first few rounds will be close but Pacquiao should eventually take over and cruise to the finish line with nothing but a few scares. Jean Pascal (26-1-1, 16 KO’s) is one the world’s most well decorated boxer with his unique style and knockout power. In 2008, he suffered his first boxing loss against former world champion Carl Fronch. By then, the 28-year old Pascal moved up to the light heavyweight division and managed to dominate it by an incredible winning streak of 5-0-1. He defeated Adrian Diaconu for two times and a marvelous win over Chad Dawson. Most recent is the draw with Hopkins.
Bernard “The Executioner” Hopkins (51-5-2, 32 KO’s) is simply one of best boxer of all time at 46 years old which still surprised us with his way of boxing. He holds the longest reigning middleweight champion with over 10 years and 20 successful defenses. His record showed victories against Howard Eastman, Antonio Tarver, Winky Wright, Kelly Pavlik, Enrique Ornelas and Roy Jones since turning 40 in 2005.
